The Venus with an ankle strap that continues into a diagonal arch strap is chic, sexy and very versatile. This sandal beautifully supports your foot with the single toe band and closed heel cage. The diagonal arch strap adds unusual and very stylized element to the shoe that elongates the leg beautifully. In a strong yet feminine combination of inky truquoise and light-colored stiletto heel, the shoe is finished with a soft footbed padding.

Overall, dance shoes should fit comfortably snug. They should feel like a glove enveloping your feet. You may find that your correct shoe size, for dancing, is one size smaller than your regular shoe size. That is especially true if you are in between sizes. If you don't plan to wear our shoes for dancing, then choose your regular shoe size.
 
For sandals, your toes should be close to the front of the shoe but not hanging over the edge. Generally speaking, your toes will be closer to the edge for dancing shoes than in your regular street shoes to avoid catching the floor during dance moves.
 
With wear, the leather will stretch, molding to the shape of your foot. The shoes will stretch across the widest part of your foot as you break them in, but they will not stretch in the length.
 
Axis Tango shoes are based on Italian/European sizing.
