Overall, dance shoes should fit comfortably snug. They should feel like a glove enveloping your feet. You may find that your correct shoe size, for dancing, is smaller than your regular shoe size. That could be especially true if you are in between sizes or have narrow feet. If you have standard width foot or don't plan to wear our shoes for dancing, then start by choosing your regular street shoe size. If needed, you can make a return for exchange or refund.

For open-toe designs, your toes should be close to the front of the shoe but not hanging over the edge. Generally speaking, your toes will be closer to the edge for dancing shoes than in your regular street shoes to avoid catching the floor during dance moves.

With wear, the leather will stretch, molding to the shape of your foot. The shoes will stretch across the widest part of your foot as you break them in, but they will not stretch in the length.

Axis Tango shoes are based on Italian/European sizing.

In an effort to be more sustainable, a number of our styles are made on demand helping to reduce waste, excess inventory, and carbon emissions. Pre-orders can take 4-16 weeks from your order date, with most typically delivered in 6 - 8 weeks. If you finance your purchase with Shop Pay/Affirm, your first payment is due approximately two weeks after your purchase is finalized. Because of extended delivery times for pre-orders, your payment(s) may be due before you receive your purchase.

Always 14-day returns & exchanges on in-stock or pre-order items that are not on sale or custom-made. Your refund or exchange will be for the amount paid minus $15 for return shipping. Items bought with discount of 20% or more from listed price are eligible for exchange only; this includes purchases made during the Black Friday 2022 sale. No returns on international orders.
Sale, vegan, street or custom-made items are returnable for refund with Seel Return Assurance. The option to add it will display on eligible items' pages and your cart prior to checkout. Without Seel Return Assurance, such items are not eligible for returns and are final sale.
