Size Guide
Shoe Size Guide - Men

Tango shoes should fit nicely & comfortably snug. Premium quality tango shoes will relax onto your foot. If you purchase shoes that are not snug enough to begin with, this can become an issue after a few tandas.

Axis Tango shoes are in Italian sizing unless otherwise specified. Italian tango shoes run overall small, so if you are between sizes you may need to go the size up as opposed to down, i.e. if your street shoe size is 10.5 you will most likely be a size 44.

Torino White Leather

This is a very comfortable shoe with super soft glove like leather. I wore these shoes right out of the box and for an entire milonga with extremely happy feet! Love these shoes.

All Night comfort, looks like a dress shoe.

I was partial to DNI shoes prior to visiting Axis with the intention of picking out a pair of Bandolera’s because of the reputation they were getting for comfort. I chose the Axis Torino Nappa Biancas because they were even more comfortable than the Bandoleras, and looked like a dress shoe. First time wearing them I took them to the NYC All-Night Milonga, and wore them the whole time. What I found is that the bevels worked around the perimeter of the front sole, placed my body weight on a smaller area of contact with the floor, which made pivoting effortless, and changed my dance immediately - helping me to pivot, the way I always knew I should, but hadn’t done consistently enough before. I also appreciated and noticed the venting through the insole and out the bottom, which made my foot noticeably cooler.

The only suggestion I would make is for Axis to stitch the front soles to the shoe along the very edge where the bevel is sharp. I find myself dragging my foot stylistically, and when the floors aren’t smooth it pulls the sole from the shoe, requiring repair after just a few months. I think stitching should resolve that, and hope to see it incorporated in future models.

Thank you very much for your positive review and feedback. We’ll definitely look into it!
