Villa Urquiza FLEX Croco Bronce - SALE (Size US 10)
Made by hand in Argentina by 2x4 al pie
Order your 2X4 one half size SMALLER than your regular US dance shoe size.
FLEX is a new economical entry in the 2x4 al pie collection. It has the same soft upper leather and split sole construction you came to know and love from the premier 2x4 al pie atelier from Buenos Aires, but now with the permanent soft leather sole. Shock-absorbing heel. Handmade in Buenos Aires.
2x4 al pie are fully split-sole shoes. That means there is no "shank" whatsoever. The shoe can be folded like a wallet. Unique to Axis Tango edition of these new and sought-after models is the insole insert with rigid support for when arch support is desired.
2X4 are perhaps the lightest all-leather tango shoe available. Handmade in Buenos Aires with supple, deliberately light gauge leathers and linings, designed to break in better than typically heavier shoe leathers. Making an ultra light and flexible dance shoe without sacrificing too much durability is a tricky balance to find, but 2X4 stay supportive a lot longer than would be expected of such a light and flexible shoe.
Please note: The "snakeskin" leather is a printed finish and may exhibit signs of contact and wear. If you "dance on the edge," the finish could show blemishes if your style of tango is more exuberant and includes many sweeps or other elements that cause heavy contact with the upper portion of the shoe. Decorative finishes are inherently more fragile than plain leather. Aggressive dance styles will eventually result in damage to the surface. Regular return policy applies, no returns accepted for damage to the decorative finish.
